| What do you think about this yugioh ban list? because in my own opinion i think its a dumb list to have i can understand the limited and semi-limited list cause that helps show your skills and a duelist but a list of cards that cant be played come on now really whats the point of making these cards if you cant use them in a duel or if you do it has to be a duel at home or at a friends house all and really all theses cards are doin is collecting dust | |

| I can never understand the "why make the cards if you're going to ban them" line of thinking. It's not like Konami knew at the time of release that they were going to be banned later on. For most of them, they either weren't overpowered at the time of release, and cards released later on made them broken, or Konami just didn't realise how broken they would be. Rescue Cat, for example was nearly useless, and mainly only used in fun beast decks. However with the introduction of synchros it became broken. | |

| For a few reasons. Some cards are banned because they make it way too easy to OTK, others are banned simply because they are way too overpowered, making winning the game based on a lucky draw than how well you actually play. | |

| I'm sure Konami like the Banlist as much as we do, it reduces sales on certain cards. Like, when is the last time anybody's picked up a Dark Strike Fighter? Anyway, I personally like the banlists. It makes the game more enjoyable. Like where's the fun in getting beaten by Chaos Emperor/Yata OTK? I don't mind losing, as long as it's to a good well-thought out deck that I was able to put up a good fight against. | |
